Frequently Asked Questions

What can Office Allies Associates do?

Our Associates will have one or more of the following skillsets: executive admin, project management, bookkeeping, social media and marketing, and customer service. Once we get to know your requirements, we will build your dedicated personalized Office Allies team to provide the support your business needs. See our Services page for more information.

Our Associates are all located within the US, are college educated, and have experience working with small businesses. We have an intensive screening and hiring process for our candidates, which come to us from LinkedIn, referral from our staff, and from our US Military families. We proudly hire military dependents whenever possible, giving them an opportunity to work from anywhere, while also supporting their loved one.

Maybe! We’ve listened carefully to clients over the years and assembled a team with the variety of skills that clients need as they grow their business. Our mission to become an extension of your business. Rather than needing to hire an executive assistant, web developer, and a bookkeeper, Office Allies have immediate access to a team of tried and tested professionals with all the skills you need when you need them.

Everyone get sick from time to time, take a vacation, or need to take time off for personal reasons. All of the Office Allies Associates can train a backup so that they can step in to cover them when the need arises.

We think of your retainer like a bucket.  When your Associate(s) works, they track their time using our internal time tracking software, based on the skillset required.  At the end of each month, clients receive a report showing all the time used against the retainer, and the remaining balance.  If your bucket is almost empty, we invoice you to refill it.

The retainer carries over from month to month.

Office Allies use MFA and enterprise level cybersecurity standards. When passwords are shared with Office Allies, we recommend you use LastPass. The Operations Manager then shares those passwords with only the Associate(s) assigned to your accounts. If anything happens, the Operation Manager can turn off all access with a single click.

Office Allies Associates are kept up to date on the latest cybersecurity threats and how to spot scams, phishing, and other malware type attacks.
